We are indeed very proud of our Junior Choir who won the *Choir of The Year* Competition which was held at Twin Rivers School on Friday 20th June. There were seven schools participating. Congratulations. Thank you to Mr Prosper Takapera and accompanist Mr Brian Munongwa.
Jazz Concert
First was the Jazz concert organized by our very own Music Department. Other schools were invited to make it a fun filled evening. Schools which participated were Peterhouse, Prince Edward, Hellenic, St Georges, Watershed and of course, The Heritage School.
The Senior English Department
This term started off on a positive note for the English department with two of the teachers Mrs Baera and Ms Musiyamanje attending Cambridge Professional Development courses in IGCSE and ‘A’ level Literature in English.
Senior Library
SENIOR DEPARTMENT LIBRARY Senior Department has a well stocked library. It includes and encourages the use of audiovisual aids and other special materials for learning in addition to books, periodicals, and the like.
Senior Debate
On Saturday 31st May 2014 the Senior Debate Society consisting of Tichafara Chingore, Nyasha Kuruneri, Allan Mpofu, Simon Ndhlovu, Vanessa Mukondo and Nneamaker Oguejiofor did the school proud.
Cambridge International Examination Workshops
Cambridge International Examinations workshops have become a permanent feature on our school calendar. Teachers in various departments attended the workshops held at Arundel School from 8th to 11th May this year. Interaction with Cambridge examiners always provides the classroom practitioners with knowledge of examination papers, marking procedures and CIE standards.
