FINAL TERM OF 2016
We had a good second term where everyone was very friendly and welcoming, which reflects a caring School Community making The Heritage School a great learning place to be.
We would like to welcome back for the third and final term of 2016, all our Junior Department Families and trust the break provided an opportunity for you all to spend time together, as well as our Examinations Classes to balance this with some dedicated revision.
Our main focus for this Term
In the classroom, The Heritage Junior Department’s strong Team of teaching staff is prepared to take whatever extra time and trouble is required to help each student reach their full potential and achieve their final goals for the year. We will continue with the Department’s tradition of individual attention and high expectations.
Cambridge Checkpoint Pre-Test
Once again, our Year Six Students have been chosen by the Cambridge Examination Board, to write the Cambridge Checkpoint Pre-Test Examination. We hope our students will embrace the challenge and take this opportunity to prepare for their Final Cambridge Checkpoint Examinations.

Sports
Our main Sport for this term will be swimming which will be compulsory for all students. Our School Swimming Team will be participating in a number of Swimming Galas including the *Inter-Schools E.P.S.A.* Division 2 Gala, and our own* Invitational Gala* which we will be hosting on 28th October 2016.
During the term our girls will also participate in different Tennis Tournaments, whilst the boys will be playing Cricket.
Pick – Up Times
We would greatly appreciate it if all students could be picked-up soon after their afternoon activities. Please check your child’s Homework Diary or Sports time table for their finishing times.
