A co-educational independent day school

The Heritage School is one of Zimbabwe’s finest independent schools. It’s a happy community with a warm, welcoming personality. With twenty-first century facilities, we offer staggering breadth and first division academic performance to over one thousand pupils, aged two to eighteen. We function as one school through a clearly articulated curriculum developed from British National curriculum and adapted for Zimbabwe. At The Heritage School the work of our teachers and the lives of our students are shaped by our Mission Statement and the ideals of our motto, “Alta Pete” (Aim High).

The Infant Department is unique as we start a structured education from the age of Two (Our Nursery Class) and the Infants automatically graduate to the Junior Department after completing Year Two (Grade Two).

The Junior Department offers one of the most varied curricular in Zimbabwe which includes all the sciences from Year Five (Grade Five). The Juniors also have automatic progression to the Senior Department after completing Year Six.

The Senior Department is also unique in Zimbabwe as we start our Senior Department at Year Seven (Grade Seven). We offer a wide and varied Curriculum and continually have excellent Local & International Results.

As parents, the choice of school for our children is one of the most significant decisions that we ever have to make. It is important to visit The Heritage School, talk to the Headteachers, meet teachers and pupils at work and thus get a real feel for the school’s quality, style, and atmosphere. We, at The Heritage School, believe that every child is an individual with specific needs and abilities; our aim is to develop each child’s potential in a happy, well-disciplined and caring environment.
